True Motivation Comes From You

I really can't put into words how impressed I am with all of the kbers....It doesn't matter if you've been coming for months or it's your first class - everyone is so nice, supportive of one another and works hard....Dolores and Kathy were our first timers at 9:15am - both did great...Kathy is the proud mother of triplets - WOW! It was great to see Kate and Roseanne (who I kept calling Roxanne - seriously you're not in Maui anymore) who have both been MIA for sometime...Kelli x 2 did great and so did Darlene, Brigid, Mike, etc This is the first day in many weeks Pete and Phil let me down - better have good excuses guys.....We had several new faces in boomer bell - great to see Dana back for her 2nd class (nice work) and Lisa who has also been MIA....Several gals from spinning finally mustered up the courage to come over after their class at Tone and Tan (I've missed you guys as I haven't taught in a month) - way to go Sharon (hope your watch is ok - scratched it in class - jewelry and kettlebells do not go well together), Barb and Melissa....Gayle you ROCK - 6 classes in and already pushin the 16kg - NICE! Stacey hope you feel better....Sue's x 2 what can I say - love to have you both in class! My 12:30pm group is such a FUNnie group - they truly make me laugh....we're up to 6 buddies who constantly tease and egg each other on the entire hour - they do not hold back and are not afraid to call each other out - LOL! We started off nice and easy with some resist a ball lalala...kicked it in with ropes, sledge hammer and reformer circuit.....inch worm....100 swing ladder starting with the baby 10lb bell working up to the 20kg....back to the baallllll.......they hung in there strong, but I'm still trying to figure out how Haley blew a bubble while running on the reformer and continued to talk....Nice job to you all....Karyn gets the MVP for the hour - she never quit or complained and finished strong.....I wrapped up the day volunteering at school and then headed to the Doc with Sam and Max...Sam got home crying (he's been sick for 2 weeks and doesn't appear to be getting better) saying his belly and head hurt....when I picked up Max from the sitter she said he didn't feel well and was feeling warm - AAAHHHHH never a dull moment.....Sam has a sinus infection and Max Croup and an ear infection....off to Walgreens for Drugs (So thankful I was able to get into the Doc today - could have been a real nasty night).....This is why when my wonderful husband calls from the road (usually around 10pm or so) and asks how was your day I usually respond fine as I'm too exhausted to go into detail - LOL! An Angel named Dar dropped off a homemade pasta and meatball meal with garlic bread she just happened to whip up today - waiting for us as I wheeled in with two crying sick children - so very thoughtful and delicious- Thank you! Thank you to all of you who have already posted reviews on www.dragondoor.com for me - It means a lot that you would not only take the time, but your kind words humble me - thank you for motivating me to be the best I can be......

Hear Me Roar

Unlike many others, I was soooooo glad the kids did not have school today as I was up at 4am with Sam - croup, shower, etc....We all slept in and wore pj's most of the day - yea! I had a lot of catch up to do and was able to chill with the kids - very fun....We put Max in for a nap after lunch and headed outside - Crap I realized I need to shovel or I won't be heading into work at 5pm....So boys where is the shovel??? Oh we buried it Monday Mom - it's somewhere in the backyard - OK then I guess I'm battling the BEAST of a Snow Blower.....as I said in class tonight and if you know Bob (my wonderful 6'6 husband) we have nothing SMALL at our house - Why Why Why.....So I wheel this thing out and attempt to start it - it's like the lawn mower right??? I have never done it before but how hard can it be....45 min later - I'm now sweating - determined - swearing under my breath....Finally got the &^*( thing started and off I flew - Snow was flying everywhere - the kids laughing hysterically - I pray my neighbors were ALL SLEEPING...I got it done, but I think there was more snow in the garage then out when I was done (finally figured out what one of the 18 knobs on the Beast was for - rotation - who knew)....Finally put the thing away and then couldn't get the garage door shut because of the snow - WHY WHY WHY do I try....LOL!!!! Lisa was ditched by her group yet again and boy she was not happy....she worked her butt off and has done a great job with her diet and water, etc. I am not only proud of her, but inspired by her determination...she never quits or gives up - glares at me, but will fight to the end. She will definitely be wearing the Yellow Sparkly dress (her goal) in Maui in April - you go girl! We had 16 in class - nice job by all! Amanda and Claire hobbled their way in (first class on Monday) - way to go.....Sirius has been a nightmare - can't get the &^%* station right.....Only two showed for the 7:30pm group - the others sick....Michelle and Jenny worked really hard - very nice.....My back and Neck are killing me - Blowing snow BLOWS.....just a week ago on the beach with sun and sand....WHY OHIO???

WHHAAAAAAA......

You know when you hit the alarm (at 5:30am) several times until you realize it's almost 7am....*%$# I guess I'm not working out and then you jump in the shower the kids are up - breakfast, lunches, get ready, bus, sitter....class at 9:15am......#@*& there's no school and you would have known at 6am, but you were drooling on your pillow soooo the kids aren't going to the bus stop and while they're jumping for joy.....*&^% now what????? Thankfully, the sitter down the street was able to come for the day - Thank you God! Headed in for classes - light, but to be expected with the weather - all did great! I had a hair appointment at VCS - I don't care if there is a tornado I DO NOT CANCEL the hair appointment - ever, especially after last week and the comments made......I pulled in and almost drove my minivan over Darlene - who knew it was BBOM day at VCS - so fun???? We looked sweet with our foils - HOT - funny cuz people pay us to get tortured and we pay stylists to do crazy stuff with tin foil!!! I left feeling on top of the world - things are turning around....I zoomed (on my doughnut in the snow storm - hair first - priorities) to Gateway Tire...they are damn good....they said it would be 45min for a new tire and of course I had to get two because yada yada yada no tred and I thought yea right as the waiting room was packed....45min on the dot (talk about service) they wheeled my kettlebel red beast around the corner - paid and on my way - Impressive....I got home and the kids were all good and the sitter in Tact - even better.....I had the night off from work and errands and sports and homework - PARTY - Things are looking up!!!! If you're reading this can you do me a HUGE favor and write a review on www.dragondoor.com for me (go to find instructors, scroll to bottom to RKC Instructors in the United States, click on my name, enter your email address and write)???? I will be hounding everyone in class starting tomorrow...the powers above (in kettlebell land) do review these and I only have two to date (thanks Greg and Molly)....I would really appreciate your help! I WILL NOT be turning the alarm off tomorrow....gotta kick it into high gear to make up for today!!!

Back To Reality

SOOOOOO Sorrryyyy! I'm finally back in the swing - WOW!!!! We had a great time in Maui - surfed, beached, burned, swam, hiked, drove, ate, drank - Good times, good times that went too fast!!! We were on a red eye last week at this time - definitely glad I have a bed to sleep in this Monday....Got back to reality and work and laundry and snow and bills and shoes and coats - Why OHIO I ask - of all places in the US???? I was glad to see the baby (missed him like crazy) as he and the dogs were with his Aunt, Uncle and cousins in Michigan. We are in debt forever I believe.....It took me most of last week to attempt to get back to normal (understatement). My partners said I had until today - God Bless you! Unfortunately, I think I'm back in the routine I was able to digress from for 14 days - sure wished everyday was a vacation - wouldn't we all!!!! I did miss everyone (just not Ohio and the weather) and believe it or not my bells! Bob and I borrowed Darlene's pack weight for the trip. It was a great workout, but definitely not the same. Thank you to all of you who stayed dedicated to KB as well as to Molly and Darlene who covered for me - I really appreciate it! Last Thursday and Saturday were a little light, but we kicked into high gear tonight with 4 brand new - 24 in total.....that's a lot of iron - you guys rock! I'm still driving around on a doughnut - flat tire at 9:30pm last Thursday after the girls night out promotion - WELCOME HOME - did I mention a snow storm blew in and I waited for AAA for 1 1/2 hours....I'm hoping to get that fixed tomorrow.....I also had three people ask last week when I was due.......I'M NOT PREGNANT MY TWO PARTNERS ARE....That really sucks, especially when you think you're in decent shape - ok I know I'm bloated from vacation, but come on......Oh Well I'm the proud Mother of three GIANT boys who did a number on my 5'3" body - abdominal wall no more!!!! My next life I'm marrying someone really small (I love you BOB but you're too damn big - grandma was right).....When my GIANT boys are on full ride scholarships or playing pro ball someday I'll be able to laugh, but right now it's not funny!!! If I'm pregnant I'll tell you, please don't ask or I may knock you out - LOL!!!!!

The Count Down

I was a bad girl - skipped 2 days of blogging!!!! Saturday was fun - excellent classes and great effort by all....I spent 1 1/2 hours on my hands and knees washing the black ugly dirty annoying mats - came in Monday to streaks - didn't think they could look worse? Who knew? Sunday was a nice family day - catching up on odds and ends - trying to prepare for the trip....We leave Thursday afternoon - can't believe it - very excited....Maui here we come!!!! Lisa was ditched by her group so I had her all to myself - she did awesome - called me names....By the way, she sells Creative Memories....sold so much this past year she and Gretchen are heading to Maui in April! Lisa showed me these amazing ditigal books you can create online - very nice and reasonable! We had a nice size class at 6:30pm - 5 brand new! Everyone did extremely well....Doug stopped in to pick up his collage by Sherry Brown! Doug you look great - so nice to see you!!!! Safe travels on your way back - we miss you. Thank you again for everything.....I had 4 new ladies at 7:30pm - they looked frightened too death and not happy to be there, but when it was over they all rang the bell with pride!!!! Excellent Work Ladies!!!! Weight Loss Challenge kicked off 2/1/08.....40 participants in total.....Grand Prize $400!!!! Will it be you??? What are you waiting for????

No School Today

I drug my butt out of bed at 5:30am to go to Molly's 6am class - I REALLY wanted to stay in bed, but was glad I made it in....we did some really tough things including 2 different circuits....Tammy makes me laugh, Emily says it how it is and Marcy is Marcy.....the roads weren't really too bad, but we soon found out the kiddos would be home for the day! I headed home, showered and prepared for the day...the boys were disagreeing by 9am and unhappy about the chore assignments - REALLY? What do you think Mom does all day - feet propped up eating bon bon's - they laughed and said that's what they would do -LOL! I had the VCS girls at 10:45am - very proud of Jeanie for coming back - she did awesome! Deb is so strong, Colleen is worried about the muffin top and Stacey the back fat - LOL....we had the place to ourselves so many trips down and back we made - see saw, swings, lunges....TRX bands - foam rollers - oh my.....Headed home for lunch, housework and phone calls....Alex had a soccer game at 6pm in Lodi and then Bob, my parents and I headed for Rabbits Foot for dinner and a Mona Vie meeting....This young dude from Florida, named Glen, flew up to present - WOW was he impressive.....a great speaker - very inspirational - learned a lot! This is Good Stuff - Mona Vie - tastes good and making a huge difference in many people's lives - it's hot....everyone should be on it without a doubt....If you want to feel great, have more energy, sleep better, lose weight and help fight against heart disease, cancer, diabetes, etc. you should really take the time to check this stuff out - Invest in your health/body, you owe it to yourself....Thank you Shellie for not only coming to the meeting, but for joining our Mona Vie Team - You are going to be great and I'm proud to be right there with you....
